Remodelling and comprehensive extension of La Llagosta suburban train station, in accordance with the architectural project drawn up by 7SIS ARQUITECTES.
The whole interior of the station was given a warm lining of wood, in contrast to the colder aesthetics of the floor and glazing.

CLADDING OF VERTICAL WALLS
Cladding of vertical walls with high pressure laminate phenolic board (HPL), finished in natural maple veneer certified to meet CTE fire reaction standard Bs2d0.
The type of board chosen was a Parklex brand model, 8 mm thick Model 700.
Prior battening with double structure mesh type 70 x 45 mm fir wood battens attached to the concrete wall with Simpson brand 150 x 50 mm galvanised steel brackets.
The battens were treated with colourless flame retardant salts in an autoclave system to ensure they meet CTE fire reaction standard Bs2d0.
Trespa panels were glued to the fir wood battens with MS prepolymer adhesive, specifically developed for gluing SOLTEC brand PanelFix model HPL type boards, leaving a 6 mm joint between boards.

FALSE CEILING
False ceiling with high pressure laminate phenolic board (HPL), finished in natural maple veneer certified to meet CTE fire reaction standard Bs2d0.
The type of board chosen was a Parklex brand model, 8 mm thick Model 700.
Prior battening with double structure mesh type 70 x 45 mm fir wood battens attached with specific stainless steel rods and anchors, and bolted to the metal structure of the roof.
The battens were treated with colourless flame retardant salts in an autoclave system to ensure they meet CTE fire reaction standard Bs2d0.
Trespa panels were screwed to the fir battens with stainless steel screws and then covered with wooden plugs flush with the wood panelling itself.
