A project for remodelling the management floor: by the architectural firm SANDY BRUNNER.
It includes the corridor areas, lift area, meeting rooms and furnishings.
The central core of the building is clad throughout with panels of natural oak and white ash from Italy.
The work is intended as giving a layered effect, forming relieves on the wall, and combining different widths of panels with different finishes.
In the meeting room, and as a continuation of the corridor, the panelling was transformed into a set of cabinets at different levels and with different uses, with a projected opening on special guides with a capacity of 200 kg including retraction and brake dampers.
In the rooms where working breakfasts and lunches are taken, a number of 6 cm thick oak tables with kiln-lacquered 80 x 25 mm tubular iron legs were constructed. The tables can be extended according to the use required.
An auxiliary multipurpose furniture unit was also constructed, with sliding doors and a built-in handle.
In the room with the projection screen, a wall unit was manufactured in textured and adhesive black HPL, plus base units with doors, sides and an openable top for accessing the wiring for the screens, phones, etc., combined with an open central part veneered in cherry and varnished in a natural colour.
A furniture unit in the form of cubes, combining different finishes in the same piece, some lacquered in two colours, others combining oak or white ash veneers.
